Finding our instincts to be trustworthy

Orienting towards Pleasure, Beauty, and Liberation

Crysta Bloom

It has always been my nature to feel things deeply. As a little girl running barefoot in the wet, marshy Florida grass, I cried often and rose my small fist at any injustice. Rarely satisfied, I always felt fire in my belly, an explosion of joy in my heart, and an ocean of tears behind my eyes. My depth and complexity of feeling waxed and waned like the moon. And secretly I loved it. To experience shades of emotion, like a rainbow prism refracting light and bending angles, felt like a gift. It still does.
